Welcome to Digit Solo! If you love number puzzles, daily brain teasers, or reminiscing about solving math games on the margins of notebook paper, you have found your home.
The Core Concept
In Digit Solo, each puzzle presents you with two numbers:
- A Target Number (e.g.
24,100, or122) - A Solo Digit (e.g. only
3s, only7s, or only5s)
Your goal is simple yet deeply intriguing: construct the target number using only that solo digit combined with mathematical operations:
- Addition (
+) - Subtraction (
−) - Multiplication (
×) - Division (
÷) - Exponentiation (
^) - Factorials (
!) - Square roots (
√) - Parentheses (
(,))
You cannot mix in other digits. If the solo digit is 4, every number token in your equation must be a 4!
Daily Puzzles & Campaign Levels
Digit Solo is split into two modes:
- Daily Challenge: A brand new, algorithmic puzzle released every single day at midnight EST. It comes with a guaranteed optimal solution requiring between 3 and 6 digits.
- Campaign Levels: A hand-crafted progression of numbered levels ranging from gentle Easy intros to mind-bending Impossible mathematical feats.
